Today's customers want, and expect, to be able to interact with you on their own terms.  As consumers we are all used to helping ourselves to find the information we need, when and where we need it. Customer Portals are no longer a cost cutting tool purchased just with an eye to saving money on customer service, they are now an essential part of your customer services experience, with a wider range of benefits designed to meet, and in some cases, exceed, higher expectations from your customers. So, what do you need from your customer portal? It's easiest to think of it in terms of what you would like to achieve as well as what your customers expect.

Get paid faster – customers can pick up account statements and view and download invoices straight from the portal.

Get orders signed off faster - customers can approve orders on-line and view past on-line approvals.

Provide better customer service – customers can raise and monitor support tickets through the ticketing area.

Exploit marketing and selling opportunities - you can publish customer specific content on your customers' portal welcome page in order to highlight offers and promotions specific to certain customers.

Reduce administration costs –  customers raise tickets and monitor progress on-line leaving less pressure on your customer service reps to take calls and create tickets.

Increase social engagement -  include your twitter feed in the login screen.

We'd be happy to show you round the HarmonyPSA customer portal. With Harmony's easy-to-use editing tools you can customise the customer portal, adding text and your company logo. And we have been working on making the portal even more flexible, allowing users to override the existing styles in Harmony so you can have even more control over the look and feel of the pages.
